The General Directorate of Monuments Administration and Tourist Promotion of Hunedoara County (GDMATP) is a public institution under the coordination of the Hunedoara County Council that was established in 2021 with the main purpose of protecting and enhancing the Dacian fortresses from the Orăștiei Mountains, as well as the historical monuments and memorial houses of local interest. Description

The massive tack consists of a decorated disc and a massive nail, rectangular in cross-section. The decoration consists of geometrical and vegetal patterns which are organized in two registers. This artifact is part of the set of five decorated tacks that were found in the large limestone temple on terrace XI from Grădiștea de Munte – Sarmizegetusa Regia.
