This cup is missing the handle which was inserted under the rim and near the bottom. This type of ceramic tableware is less common in the area of the Dacian fortresses from the Or\u0103\u0219tiei Mountains, compared to other contemporary Dacian settlements.  The majority of researchers considered that such artifacts were used as containers for lighting rooms, having traces of secondary burning inside.
